Camp is Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm (campers must bring their own food or money for OTA)

You must be a PSC Lifetime Member to book with us directly. This rate requires a valid membership attached to the person booking. We confirm all memberships. The cost is $99, can be purchased at check-out, and is good for life! You can book a non member rate directly with the City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation department.

Ocean Explorers summer camp is a fun and informative experience for kids age 8-14. Kids will expand on their ocean confidence in this program. We provide wetsuits.

Our counselors are lifeguard certified and specially trained in our very own "Ocean Risk Management Program" which is a comprehensive course taught by the Paddle Sports' CEO, Garrett Kababik, who has 25 years of ocean leadership experience.

The Ocean Explorers Camp mission is "Play to Protect". This camp’s intention is to serve as a resource for youth to become more connected to the ocean. Each week will focus on ocean sports and marine education topics that directly connect to our local marine environment. Daily activities include a variation of kayaking, stand- up paddle boarding, boogie-boarding, surfing, body surfing, snorkeling, beach play, beach cleanups and ocean education.
